Road to Leadville 100 - Si Se Puede
Film Screening and Talk
Sunday, May 5, 2024
2-4:30pm
Join us for a free screening about Daniel Flores' journey going for the seemingly impossible, & being able to push through & make it happen!
Road to Leadville 100 - Si Se Puede is an inspirational documentary about Daniel Flores’ journey to complete the Leadville Trail 100, one of the most difficult 100 mile ultra-marathons in the world, due to its high elevation and difficult terrain. The film reveals how we are more capable than we think to shoot for the seemingly impossible and make it happen - si se puede! Flores says, “The cool thing about the documentary is that it tells a story. It’s not just about a race. It shares my journey as a Mexican immigrant coming to the U.S.”
Film is in English. Screening will be followed by a bilingual (Spanish/English) talk-back with Daniel Flores and the film's director.
This event is free and everyone is welcome!
